Home / Reading on my own

Read slowly. Let it stay with you.

For anyone holding the book now, or who has just finished it. One passage, one question, and as long as you need in between.

How to read it on your own

  1. Read one passage

Each passage is short. Read one, then set the book down.

  2. Sit with its question

Every passage ends with two questions. Let one stay with you for a day before you write. There is no wrong answer.

  3. Write your answer

Each passage has its own page with a private place to write. It stays on your device.

  4. Hear her voice

Amal Lana reads each teaching beside the river, in under a minute. Listen.
