Every day that matters has its water

A birthday, an anniversary, the day you lost someone. Choose a date and see which of the thirteen waters it belongs to, with words from the book to keep or to send.

Nothing you choose leaves this device.

Every date belongs to one of thirteen waters

  1. Thirteen times

The Water Year has thirteen times of 28 days, one for each passage of the book, beginning at the spring equinox.

  2. One passage each

Your date falls in one of them, and that passage, its teaching and its question become yours.

  3. Send it, or keep it

Send the card to the person the date belongs to, or keep it for yourself. Come back to it each year.

A few questions

What is the Water Year?
A year of thirteen times, each 28 days long and named for what the water is doing, from the Time of Thaw in spring to the Turning Tide in late winter. Each holds one passage of The Well Being of Water: Surrender to Self by Amal Lana. See the whole year.
Is my date saved anywhere?
Only on your own device, and only if you choose “Remember this date.” Nothing is sent to anyone.
What about March 19?
The one day left over before the spring equinox is Still Water: a day when nothing is asked.

Want each water to arrive on its own? Add the Water Year to your calendar once; it renews every year.
